East Mebon East is located in the center of the East Baray, about 500m away from Prasat Broat. The temple was built in the 10th century in 952 by King Rajendravarman dedicated to the goddess in Hinduism. The temple looks similar to the rupee temple. Originally, the temple was located on the small island of the eastern Baray, which was able to travel by boat, but now the baray is gone.
